Kumite Special: 9D Breathwork and Guided Session
For the celebration of our first Kumite in the new dojo, we will collaborate with 9D Breathwork by Yuri De Smedt to create a unique and intensive experience.
Before rope enters the space, both riggers and models will be transported on a journey of mindfulness through a combination of breathing techniques and advanced sound technology (using headphones).
The experience will be followed by a guided session inspired by Peter Etheros & Zaarah.
You are cordially invited to join us and to explore shibari from a different perspective.
ABOUT 9D BREATHWORK
9D Breathwork is an immersive, multi-sensory experience that combines conscious breathing with 9 layers of engineered audio, including binaural brain entrainment, solfeggio frequencies, and NLP affirmations. It aims to regulate the nervous system, release stored somatic tension, and reprogram subconscious patterns.
Yuri De Smedt is a certified 9D breathwork facilitator, with more than 15 years of experience in bodywork & somatic coaching throughout Europe.
REQUIREMENTS
This kumite special edition is suitable for riggers and models of all levels coming as a pair. Beginners are welcome.
Jute Conditioning & maintenance Workshop
With the opening of Studio TIEY v2, there's no better time to establish the v2 of your ropes too.
As a natural fiber, the properties of jute tend to evolve over time, making jute rope care a highly recommended practice. During this workshop, we will share our insights, experience and craft that we gathered over the years. Together, you will get the opportunity to care for your own ropes.

PRACTICALS
Studio TIEY v2 is located on the same address, same building, ground floor.
The kumite & workshop is given in Dutch if all attendees feel comfortable. In all other cases, we switch to English.
For the 9D breath work session, headsets are provided by Yuri.
